JOAN THIRION MA, E-RYT, the Director of AWARENESS WORKS, formerly Yoga and Health in Bethlehem, brings a lifetime of practice and training to her teaching. Joan's professional experience includes Kripalu Yoga, Ashtanga, Advanced Chakra, and International Breathwork Certification, Reiki Master, Massage School and study with renowned teachers. She has taught at corporations, colleges, Hawley Arts & Cultural Center, Wallenpaupack High School, her studio, Yoga and Health in Bethlehem, PA and has a Master of Arts is in Transpersonal Studies. Joan has a non-dogmatic approach, compassion, and a strong understanding of yoga philosophy and postures.

Learn the Five Tibetans or Five Rites of Balance. These simple stretches activate and balance the twelve meridians of the body and when combined with walking are a complete system of physically balanced exercises. Performed daily, a profound difference in energy level can be noted in a short period of time. As always, consult your physician or other health care provider before beginning this or any program of exercise.

REIKI MASTER by request

You will know when you are ready to take a step higher. You have used Reiki on yourself and felt its benefits. You have seen miracles in the lives of others. You enjoy sending distant Reiki and realize its unusual effectiveness. You eat healthy, practice regular meditation, and feel grounded. You may simply feel drawn to receive a powerful, spiritual boost of energy through the Initiation. Not all Reiki Masters teach. Some combine it with their caregiving or creative work whether medical, psychological or artistic enterprise. The Training consists of twelve hours on two different days. Reiki Master Manual and certificate included. $500

Private Sessions

Private Sessions in Shamanic Healing, Spiritual Counseling, Yoga, Breathing, Reiki, or Meditation - 1 Hour $45 or 5 for $200.

Designed especially for you, these may included a combination of therapies and modalities.
